I was looking through old LJ posts and when I took this test at age 18, I was a "Centrist". Oh how education, time, and experiences can change people. I can't believe I still post date my journal. LOL

"People who imagine that history [his-story] flatters them (as it does, indeed, since they wrote it) are impaled on their history like a butterfly on a pin and become incapable of seeing or changing themselves, or the world.  This is the place in which it seems to me, most white Americans find themselves.  Impaled.  They are dimly, or vividly, aware that the history they have fed themselves is mainly a lie, but they do not know how to release themselves from it, and they suffer enormously from the resulting personal incoherence."
- James Baldwin, "The White Man's Guilt" August 1965

I want to make my mind throw up on a page.  It would be messy and beautiful. It would be full of cigarette smoke and beer and coffee.  It would be sad and strange.  I can adequately describe what my result to be, but I can never perform the actual task.  What is going on in there?

I am at the computer lab in the Broadway Building at school.  I have been sneezing silently and I think it looks like I am having small seizures.  Spanish composition was a success.  I am trying to write and write and write so I can keep my promise to Tara but it seems that inspiration is hard for me to absorb.  Finished reading A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami, it was "easily accessible, yet profoundly complex".  Well, off to take my second exam of the day, then to start work on a group presentation, then home and then maybe to a friend's house to watch Visitor Q.
